Theatre performance The Indispensables

On Tuesday, April 14 and Wednesday, April 15, was at Werkse! The theatre production De Onmisbaren, created by Stadsgezelschap PS|theater and Theater De Makkers, can be seen. For this production, they delved into the world of social development enterprises and interned with employees of the groundskeeping, production, mail, and bicycle parking departments.

This performance centers on employees in work-learning companies who work hard every day and are proud of what they do, but do not always feel seen or appreciated. The actors brought the stories to life and engaged the audience. The stories in the performance showed how valuable work is, for individuals and for society. How important it is to participate and receive recognition for it.

There was a lot of discussion afterwards. The performance gave food for thought and showed how important it is to have respect and appreciation for one another.
