Departure of director Cor van der Wel

After more than 8 years as General Manager, Cor van der Wel is leaving Werkse! He has left. During his time as director, he has made a significant contribution to our organization; we are very grateful for that. The exact date of his departure is not yet known, but we expect to say goodbye around the end of this year.

Cor is still enjoying himself at Werkse!, but he is ready for a new challenge. He says: 'I go to work every day with great pleasure and energy at Werkse!, but I want to try to make an impact in a different place again. And where possible, make the world a little more fun and beautiful in that place.' He also wants to offer someone else the opportunity to Werkse! to be developed even further.

The Supervisory Board (SB), in collaboration with the shareholder, the MT, and the works council, will begin recruiting a new director in the near future. Laetitia Smits, Chair of the SB: "We are delighted to thank Cor for his creative, positive, and energetic contributions." Werkse!, with which he has created and fulfilled many opportunities for both employees and business and municipal relations: 'Fun every day'!

Cor says goodbye with a smile and a tear. He says: "I'm reporting this with a heavy heart. Werkse! is a truly unique organization, made up of an incredibly talented and diverse group of people. We make an impact every day and are considered one of the leading organizations in our industry. We've been able to build that together over the past few years.

We will certainly miss Cor very much, but we are confident that he will find a great challenge and wish him much success and happiness!
