Discover your talents at the Starting Point

What will you do?
The Starting Point maps out your skills, qualities and job opportunities. You will learn about your strong points, what suits you best and what you can still work on. After the Starting Point, you will know what your next step will be.
The Starting Point in a nutshell
You’ll work 96 hours, spread over several weeks, in a production department at Werkse!. During your workdays, you’ll be invited to participate in other Startpunt components, such as (digital) tests and games. After completing each component, you’ll have a final interview and receive a report with all the information. Read more about all the Startpunt components below.
Employee skills mapping
During your working days, we will gain a better understanding of your employee skills. Think about following work instructions, working together and following a work rhythm. We will also invite you to assess your employee skills yourself. That way, you can indicate what you think you are good at and where you still have something to learn.
Talent game
Like everyone else, you have talents. With different games and questions on the computer, we discover more about these talents and who you are as a person.
Skill tests
Three skill tests give further insight into what you are good at, and what you are less good at. For example, we ask you to put something together and sort it.
Fittest
In this section, we map out your physical condition, agility and strength. Together with a trainer, you will do a number of exercises.
VR glasses
Experience multiple work environments and work types with our VR glasses. Which profession suits you? With the VR glasses, you can experience this for yourself.
Final interview
In this final interview, we explain what came out of each section. You will receive a report with all the information about it. Together, we discuss what your next step will be.
