Together for less CO2
Energy Polic Werkse!
To understand our CO2 emissions, we identify our emissions twice a year. This gives an overview and ensures that we can set the right targets to reduce our emissions. Werkse! aims to emit 58% less CO2 by 2027 compared to 2022. From 2024 onwards, we aim to research or invest in a number of measures. For instance, we will drastically reduce the consumption of gas, fuel and electricity. The target per category and the measures, can be read in the policy document. Read the policy document here.
Energy consumptio
In 2023, we started mapping CO2 emissions with the aim of reducing them. To do so, we focus on the guidelines associated with Performance Ladder 3.1 and obtained the Level 3 CO2 Awareness Certificate. To gain inspiration and knowledge on reducing emissions, we are affiliated to the Positive Impact Foundation. We also participate in Delft Energie Neutraal meetings and Cedris meetings.

About the CO2 Performance Ladde
The CO2 Performance Ladder consists of five levels. Up to level 3, organisations focus on CO2 emissions from their own activities. From levels 4 and 5, emissions across the chain and sector are also addressed. There are four components to the requirements for certification:
- Insight: analysis of energy flows and carbon footprint
- Reduction: development of CO2 reduction targets
- Transparency: clear communication about our CO2 policy
- Participation: participating in sector initiatives aimed at CO2 reduction
