Caring for others and making people happy
Do you enjoy helping others and would you like to work in healthcare? Then the Zorghub Vocational School might be the right place for you! Together with your colleagues, you will ensure that residents receive the care they need. You will help residents with washing and dressing, assist with meal preparation, or offer help with housekeeping.
What do you learn at vocational school?
At every vocational school, including Zorghub, you will develop important employee skills. These skills are based on the Good Employment Practices quality mark of MKB Nederland. Think of collaboration, independence and language. We work with the Werkstap method for this. With work assignments from Werkstap, you can practise skills at your own pace, directly on the work floor.
In addition to employee skills, the Zorghub Vocational School offers a range of professional courses and training programmes.
Basic skills at MBO 1 and 2 level
- Preparing and coordinating work
- Preparing food
- Cleaning rooms
- Communicating with colleagues and residents
Certificate
- ADL (Activities of Daily Living)

Where can you work?
Want to work in healthcare as a domestic helper, hostess or care assistant? Once you have your diploma, we will work with you to find a job with an employer in the region that suits you well. You could work at Pieter van Foreest, Ipse de Bruggen or Stichting Perspektief, for example. Working in healthcare also means irregular working hours: you will work morning, evening and weekend shifts.
