Employers who want to employ status holders can use the Subsidy Scheme for Support Employers Deployment Status Holders (SOWIS). With this grant, companies receive financial support for additional guidance. This gives status holders a chance for a good start and development at work.
This is how the subsidy scheme works
The scheme is intended for employers who employ status holders with a residence permit asylum. The maximum compensation per employer can be up to €24,000.
The grant can be used for, for example, support in learning the professional language or guidance in adapting to the work culture. This increases the chance of sustainable employability and successful cooperation between employer and employee. At the same time, employers contribute to more equal opportunities in the labor market. And employers bring in new talent, especially in sectors with tightness.
